Aijay Media Productions will be celebrating Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day Anniversary with a National Day Schools Competition with the theme: Resilient in Adversity.

This was contained in a press release by the Director of the organization, Ijeoma A. Oka. She stated that the event which is slated to hold at Caleb International British School, Abijo GRA, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos, on Tuesday, October 1 will start by 9am.

Speaking on the theme for this year’s event, Oka stressed that notwithstanding the present economic situation in the country, that Nigeria will rise again.

She said, “It is noteworthy to emphasize  the importance of bouncing back and remaining strong during challenging times.

“This time also calls for positive innovation that would enable the students and citizenry to move forward and remain strong.

Oka noted that Aijay Media Productions is happy to present the yearly national day schools competition. She stated that the event is to commemorate Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day celebration.

The Director stressed that the medium is used to acquaint the students with the knowledge of the prevalent issues in the country. She emphasized that students are prompted to offer solutions in their creative ways; using diverse presentations like drama, dance etc.

Oka maintained that children should know the political problems facing the country from school. This, she said, would propel them to do better when they assume the mantle of leadership as leaders of tomorrow.

The Director added that this year’s event promises to be colourful and impactful. Even as many dignitaries are expected to grace the occasion.
