Abia State Government has concluded plans to verify certificates of civil and public servants in its workforce. This is even as the Government urged the workers who have not uploaded their credentials online, to do so in their own interest.

The Commissioner, also added that a total of 25,458 career documents have equally been uploaded online in the ongoing exercise.

The Commissioner, however, noted said that a good number of workers in the service have already uploaded their credentials. He, therefore, called on those that have not done their to do so.
However, many of the workers in the State have criticized the policy. They described as a punitive exercise against the workers.

However, the Abia State Government has denied the NLC’s allegation.
