A 40-year-old male worshipper, identified as Abiola, otherwise known as Aro, has landed in police net for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old minor (name withheld). According to report, Aro committed the crime at the Olorunloba Mosque restroom located on Ondo Road in the Ijebu-Ode area of Ogun State.
The Ogun State Police Command, stated that the suspect, before the Saturday’s incident, had been a member of the mosque for more than 15 years.

Narrating the incident to police officers at the Igbeba Division, the victim claimed that she needed to relieve herself. Therefore, she went to the mosque’s restroom to ease herself.
According to her, while there, she heard a knock on the door shortly after she entered the restroom.
She stated that she was startled when she opened the door and discovered Aro standing by there. The teen girl said, she had thought the knock was from her younger brother, who had also come for prayers.
It, was, therefore, in that state of perplexation that Aro allegedly shoved the girl back into the restroom. Where he forced her up against the wall.
According to anonymous source, the suspect, despite the girl’s cries and pleas, removed her pants violently and pinned the teenager to the toilet wall. And had carnal knowledge of the girl.
